• How the old guard lost control of Atwater Village

    It started late last year with a dispute over the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and ended this summer with the ouster of the owner of Club Tee Gee and other veteran leaders from the Atwater Chamber of Commerce. The shake up at the chamber chronicled in the Los Feliz Ledger illustrates tensions between newcomers and long time residents and their vision for Atwater. Said the chamber’s new president: “It was time for a change.”
