Is it the history or rich culture that’s made Echo Park so popular among a younger generation? Not really. How about that great urban planning that made it one of America’s 10 Greatest Neighborhoods? Yeah, right. What’s really behind Echo Park’s popularity, at least according to resident and concert promoter Alexis Rivera, is a bit more basic:
“Price-wise, Echo Park is good for drinks, and there are a lot of horny people, young and old, so that’s a wild combination.”
