Paganism makes a come back in Echo Park and Silver Lake

    Tuesday, January 13, 2009

First there were reports of residents coming across decapitated roosters and chickens in Silver Lake and then of people finding the body of a headless goat in Elysian Park. Now, an Echo Park man walking his dog Monday morning says he came across a pentagram:

“Okay, Echo Park has gotten weirder. On my morning walk today with the dog thru the park, I passed a circle with a pentagram in the center of it, the remains of candles at the points of the star and ashes in the center. It was a full moon last night.

    What were they doing?

My dog just sniffed it and walked thru it, so if he starts acting
    possessed I’ll know why.”
