Also into a house on Echo Park Ave. Looked like two people were taken away on stretchers (not sure in what condition). From what i "heard", two cars pulled up, "alleged gang types" jumped out and started firing semi automatic weapons into the houses. A helicopter showed up immediately and shortly thereafter police cars. Not sure if anyone i'd the cars, there were quite a few people at Fix and on the streets walking an driving.

Damn, I wondered what the sirens and helicopter circling were all about this afternoon. And in retrospect, I think I heard the gunshots as well. Thanks for the information!

There was another shooting in Glassell Park, about a half hour later, supposedly related. 2 dead, 1 injured for the nights total.

There were about 10 shots total. A couple, several in a bunch, and then after a pause two more. Helicopters showed up and started circling within 60 seconds, which was surprising.
