Flipped out over antebellum real estate in Angeleno Heights

Even during the peak of the real estate market, asking a million dollars for an Eastside home was a rare event that sent eyeballs rolling. Well, imagine what kind of reaction this five-bedroom, “Southern Plantation style” home in Angeleno Heights home is getting with an asking price of $1,069,000. The same property sold for only $425,000 last July, according to Trulia. That’s quite a mark up, even for a house flipper.

Perhaps buyers will be swayed by the home’s proximity to all those “new shops, restaurants, clubs are popping up,” according to CraigsList. Of course, the nearest eatery to this home is Patra Burgers, where the only flipping involves some chewy hamburger patties.
