In Tarzana, in 2003, while walking a friend to their car - we saw what appeared to be a Very Large white helicopter go over. But, there was hardly any noise whatsoever...more like a "wosh wosh wosh" sound. It was flying Very Low and Slow. It appeared to have a strobe light underneath and got the impression it was mapping. A few streets away, it came to a complete stop in midair and hovered. The strange thing is my friend and I didn't even talk about it until a week later. At the time, we just looked at each other and carried on our conversation like this was normal - this has been on my mind since then and can't seem to find anything online where anyone else reported seeing this.
