Power still out in Eagle Rock: About 1,700 homes and businesses in Eagle Rock have been without power since about 2:30 PM, said Department of Water spokeswoman Gale Harris. Some DWP workers in the field have told residents that a transformer fire was responsible for the outage but Harris could not confirm that or when electrical service would resume.
