Eastside Looky-Loo: A Silver Lake condo with reservoir & dog park views

The planting of trees at the barren Silver Lake Dog Park is partly intended to create a buffer between the dog park and the neighbors. But the owners of a nearby condo are not hiding the fact that they are trying to sell their unit across the street from what some residents consider a noisy and sometimes smelly eyesore. In fact, the listing on Trulia for the 2-bedroom condo touts that it is “centrally located close to the doggy park” and includes a photo of the dog park and Silver Lake Reservoir beyond. What does this dog park and reservoir adjacent unit cost? Answer: $539,000. The condo association is OK with dogs, right?
