Dodgers fans will have another way to get to games this upcoming baseball season and avoid the traffic chocked streets of Echo Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Officials today announced a free, express shuttle bus service between Union Station and Dodger Stadium. But the team won’t be paying for the service. The taxpayers will be thanks to a $300,000 air pollution reduction grant secured by County Supervisor Michael Antonovich. “State-of-the-art 40-foot clean-burning compressed natural gas buses will run between Union station and Dodger Stadium every 10 minutes prior to the start of the game and run approximately every 30 minutes throughout the game,” according to an Antonovich press release.
