Job hunters vs. baseball fans at Dodger Stadium

Saturday morning will find two groups of people descending on Dodger Stadium to compete for some valuable commodities: good seats and good jobs. The main stadium gate will open at 8 AM to allow Dodger fans to line up on the first day they can buy single-game tickets. Two hours later, the stadium on the edge of Echo Park will host a community job fair. The ticket buyers will be wearing numbered wrist bands. The job seekers are encouraged to wear “business attire and bring a current resume.” Which event will draw a bigger crowd? Well, recruiters at last year’s job fair were overwhelmed with more than 10,000 job seekers. It’s not clear how many fans lined up for tickets. Good luck to both groups.
