The so-called floralscape alongside the 110 Freeway north of Sunset Boulevard was being planted this week with a new scene featuring a baseball player. Jesse Saucedo snapped these pictures as the player at bat was taking shape on the freeway near Dodger Stadium (It’s not clear if this is a Dodger-related image). One of the workers displayed a drawing of the image being rendered in flowers. This same freeway flowerbed once served as a Toyota Prius promotion until someone in early March placed a field of white crosses on the slope in what was viewed as a memorial for the people who had died in Toyota accidents.
