This weekend is for you if you don’t mind getting dirty. Community clean ups are planned along the Los Angeles River (pictured above between cleanings) on Saturday and in Echo Park on Sunday as part of Earth Day weekend events. There is also the day-long Wonder Cabinet – a variety show of art, science and everything in between – at Occidental College, school fundraisers in Echo Park, dodge ball in Silver Lake and a Sunday evening concert featuring the music of Mexican composers.
