Could the choppers have been practicing for a presidential visit to Dodger Stadium today? President Obama is scheduled to attend a $17,600-a-plate fundraiser tonight in Exposition Park for Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer. Last year, a helicopter ferrying the president and other military choppers touched down in the Dodger Stadium parking lot (pictured above) before he was transported by motorcade to appear at a town hall meeting at the Miguel Contreras high school south of Echo Park. This year, according to LA Now, the plan is for President Obama to arrive at LAX on Air Force One before he boards a helicopter for a short hop to Exposition Park and the dinner fundraiser at the Natural History Museum. Stay tuned to find out if the president flies directly to Exposition Park or makes a return visit to Dodger Stadium.
