Is Echo Park ready to join the million dollar home club?

With sweeping views to the west and Elysian Park to the east, Park Drive has along been regarded as one of Echo Park’s most desirable streets, attracting everyone from art dealers to celebrity hairdressers and, recently, a 24-year-old rocker. Now, the owner of a four-bedroom house is going to test the desirability of Park Drive by asking $1.299 million for the property, according to Trulia. Million home sales have become more common in the hills above the Silver Lake reservoirs but seven-digit prices for a single home are rare for Echo Park, even during the peak years. The asking price certainly draws attention in a neighborhood where the median sales price is $367,000, according to Trulia.

  1. This is erroneous information. I have the listing on this home which will be coming on the market in mid-June for $949,000.
