More than 700 volunteers – including many kids – fanned out across Cypress Park on Saturday morning to paint out graffiti on storefronts and paint some new murals at local schools as part of L.A. Works Day. Students at Aragon Elementary will return to campus on Monday to find a new U.S. map – pictured above – painted on the school grounds.
