The Gabriella Charter School stands apart from other schools with a focus on a dance program. But students at Gabriella, which shares the Logan Elementary School campus, are also exposed to other forms of art. On Thursday night, the public is invited to attend the school’s Fourth Annual Student Art Show, said art teacher Andrea Saenz. Here’s what to expect:
For that night only we are transforming the new dance studios and adjoining courtyard into a gallery space. Canvas display panels will be hung from the studio ceilings, sculptures will be displayed in the courtyard. Each of the 272 students from Gabriella Charter School will exhibit at least one piece. Artworks will include drawings, paintings, posters and sculpture.”
