  • Protesters greet Dodger fans

    Tuesday, June 1, 2010

Dodger fans arriving for Monday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks were greeted at the main gates by protesters rallying against Arizona’s controversial immigration law, SB 1070. Opponents of SB 1070 have put pressure on the Dodgers to relocate their spring training camp out of  the state. Monday’s scene remained peaceful and some Dodger fans honked their horns in support,  reports LAist. “But at one point an impatient driver who tried to squeeze through a light prompted some protestors to block his car for a few minutes …  before LAPD officers approached.”

I support the Arizona Law too. These protesters don’t have their facts straight anyway. They need to look up the California Penal Code. It’s the same law as Arizona. What a bunch of knuckleheads!

Debbie – please provide a link to the Cal. Penal Code clause that is similar to SB 1070.
