I will have two children in the Los Feliz Charter school on Media Center Drive in Glassell Park off San Fernando. I need help finding a neighborhood that is family friendly, sidewalks, and safe that is close to the school but is also close to the Brand & 134 area (for work). I have been living in Studio City in a guesthouse and would like something like this instead of an apartment building or apartment neighborhood. Can anyone suggest some streets that I should visit so I can drive around looking for RENTAL signs? Probably a 2 BR is best since it is just myself and my two children, ages 7 & 9. Affordable for me is under $1500. Thank you for any help you may have.
Eagle Rock or Highland Park. I mean since school is arranged, why not look in Highland Park. You could probably find a nice little house or two on a lot to rent for that.
