Save the Date: Weekend Edition

Anyone living on the Eastside knows that you don’t have to attend a 4th of July fireworks  show to see and hear bombs bursting in air (the video above was shot in Highland Park last year).  Still,  Independence Day fireworks shows and concerts will be held throughout the holiday weekend, beginning tonight in Boyle Heights, Saturday in El Sereno, Sunday in Eagle Rock and even Monday when the Dodgers treat Echo Park and Solano Canyon to a massive display.
