Apples: The mural was taken down lickety split under threat of city fines. Oranges: The Echo Park Lake swap meet imbroglio was delayed due to a lawsuit filed by the vendors. The eviction last week was able to proceed because they used some other statutes (that The Eastsider covered here in detail). @slaker:
