  • Elysian Park snowman takes a tumble

    Monday, December 20, 2010

The endless rains have not been kind to Elysian Park’s holiday decorations.  The tumbleweed snowmen and snowwomen were finished only last Friday after volunteers from Echo Park and Solano Canyon offered to help Recreation & Park Department workers assemble the decorations. With park staff busy dealing with other rain-related damage, it might be a while before this snowman on Stadium Way gets put back together again.

Ha – I saw this Sunday but was too lazy to go out in the rain, park my car somewhere, and walk to the location for a photo!

That one on the left looks like I felt last Saturday morning the night after an office holiday party that involved a particularly vicious bottle of syrah.
