  • Hop into the Lemon Frog Shop for vintage style

    Thursday, January 20, 2011

NBC’s The Local stopped by the Lemon Frog Shop, a jam-packed Echo Park vintage clothing store catering to women.  The place and inventory maybe overwhelming at first sight, but owner Micki Curtis has organized the racks of clothing, dating from the the 1950s to 1980s, and accessories by size as well as price. More details in The Local.

Lemon Frog Shop | 1202 N. Alvarado, Echo Park
    11:30 a.m. -  7:30 p.m.  Monday thru Saturday;  12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday

Estate sales, yard sales in other cities and getting to know old people who give you stuff will create the vinTage look you seek with out the HIGH Price Tag to look cool. It just takes time and energy, SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND I SAY. Heck I used to wear my gramma clothes when it wasn’t cool. So I guess I was ahead of my time. Still love thAT 70′S PAISLEY.
