Betty Plasencia Elementary in the southern edge of Echo Park has been locked down following reports of a person with a gun in the area, reports KNX News.
*Update: The lock down is over. Police have a male suspect in custody but were searching for a weapon said Sgt. Michael Mabie with the Rampart Division. No shooting had been reported.
