Sponsored Post: Experience a newly constructed Highland Park modern cottage by bettershelter

Real estate agent Courtney Poulos invites you to view her newest listing by bettershelter on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Resting in the heart of the York corridor in Highland Park  1307 N. Avenue 54 is  a lovely three-bedroom, two-bath modern cottage newly constructed by bettershelter. The home is listed at $439,000. A sunlit hallway leads to two good-sized bedrooms,  full guest bath, featuring subway tile detail, modern vanity, vintage lighting fixtures, low-flow, dual-flush toilets. The master suite with dramatic vaulted ceilings, tongue and groove paneling, built-in desk and full bath graciously opens its french doors to a relaxing deck.

Between the ample, gated front and back yards, complete with two-car carport and urban vegetable garden, sprawls a stunning living/dining space with stained glass, vaulted ceilings and vintage chandelier. A shining kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, bright white cabinets, apron front sink and butcher block countertops makes this Highland Park retreat ready for the perfect housewarming party!

Stop by our Saturday night open house from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. to experience the home and explore the heart of this eclectic and fun community by visiting the galleries, vintage stores, and design studios open during  Second Saturday Gallery Night. The home will also be open on Sunday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

  1. Hmmm. Something about this house is bugging me. Again, they nailed the interiors but the exterior- I just dunno. Perhaps once the landscaping starts taking shape and growing in, it will seem better and more unified.
