The Eastsider reported on in June, did not sit on the market for very long given its lofty price. The six-bedroom house with more than 4,000-square-feet of space went into escrow only about two weeks after it was listed and the asking priced reduced by $33,000, according to listing information provided via Redfin.
Single-family home sales exceeding $1 million are rare in Angeleno Heights and Echo Park, where the last million-dollar property sale took place in May 2010 – but that was for two houses on a lot. I refuse to believe Echo Park/Silver Lake is considered Eastside LA. ridiculous.
Silver Lake and Echo Park are on the East side of Los Angeles. Deal with it. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s not based on traditional definition, but is widely considered so at this point.
