A 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony held this morning at the Los Angeles Fire Department Training Center near Dodger Stadium ended with 10 chimes of a bell to mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.  Photographer Jesse Saucedo was on hand as firefighters, police officers and city officials, including Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, assembled before the rusted metal fragment of the World Trade Center that stands in front of the center on Stadium Way. Helicopters flew overhead in a missing man formation as part of the ceremony.

  1. I’d like to thank the LAFD for keeping the area open through the day so we could visit late this afternoon and spend some peaceful moments remembering the fallen. It is a beautiful monument.
