Photographer Martin Cox, a frequent contributor to The Eastsider, lives above one of his favorite subjects: Echo Park Lake. Cox will present a variety of views of Echo Park Lake – from postcard-like panoramas to close ups of sunken shopping carts – in an exhibit, Perfect Echo, that opens Saturday in Silver Lake. Cox will show other Los Angeles area photographs that suggest “the passage of time and the presence of history,” according to a gallery statement.
