Taking count of Silver Lake’s homeless population

“Don’t Litter” banners might be too late for Echo Park Lake

The City Council on Friday will consider a motion allowing  street banners reading “Love Echo Park Lake Don’t Litter” to be hung around the lake for 60 days.  The anti-litter banners sponsored by the city’s Bureau of Sanitation will “serve  as a reminder that keeping trash and pollutants out of the Lake is a significant environmental goal,” according to the ... City tries to get to the bottom of Eagle Rock sinkhole*
