Historic Filipinotown criminals are partial to Beverly Boulevard

Beverly Boulevard and the blocks immediately to the north in Historic Filipinotown emerged as corridor of crime in recent days, with seven crimes ranging from theft to aggravated assault taking place in less than a week, according to CrimeMapping.com.  The crimes that took place between April 18 and April 24 included a pair of burglaries immediately north of Beverly on Rosemont Avenue and Park View Street, an aggravated assault on Rampart Boulevard, a robbery on Occidental Boulevard, a car break in on Hoover Street and two petty thefts on Beverly between Benton Way and Reno Street.  Click here for a run down of the Beverly Boulevard crime run down.

  1. Unfortunately this isn’t all that surprising. When I lived at Beverly and Park View the battery was stolen from my car on two seperate occasions.
