Swrve,  the downtown cycling apparel design firm that moved to Glassell Park last year, has opened a storefront on Verdugo Boulevard. The shop, which is called Velo Love, carries urban bike apparel by Swrve and other designers, books and accessories designed to appeal to the urban cyclist. General manager Muriel Bartol describes what Velo Love,  located at 3241 Verdugo near the Verdugo Bar,  is all about:

We’ve been working on getting our storefront ready for walk-in customers of our apparel. We also carry books, magazines, accessories and other bike-related stuff. We are also going to be carrying a selection of jewelry.

The store, which is open weekdays from  9 am – 7 pm and on weekdays from 11 am – 7 pm,  will carry a few Swrve  items not available anywhere else as well as  Swrve discounted seconds.

  1. Late to the party, but it’s Verdugo Road, not Verdugo Boulevard, I believe.
