Silver Lake bar mixes drinks and chamber music

The Silver Lake Lounge has long been a popular spot to listen to indie bands. But, on Saturday, classical strains of music will fill the Sunset Boulevard bar (which recently had a change in bookers) as it hosts the first in a series of monthly Happy Hour performances featuring chamber music. Chamber music in a bar?  Classical Revolution Los Angeles organized Saturday’s night’s concert – featuring the Vista Brass Quintent – as part of an effort to introduce chamber  music to new audiences in “relaxed, accessible venues,” according to statement.
