Found: Fluffy orange cat in Echo Park

Submitted by D. Epstein

Is anyone in the Echo Park/Elysian Heights area missing a fluffy orange and white cat? My girlfriend and I have seen this cutie around the 1600 block of Landa from time to time over the past year, but now it (can’t tell if it’s a male or female) is hanging around our house on a daily basis, and seems very starved for both food and affection. (Also might have ear mites, judging from the way it keeps scratching its ears.) Could be a local feral, but seems way too sweet and sociable for that. If you recognize this cat, please email me at dockfidrych@gmail.com.

  1. That cat belongs to someone with big hair and plastic grass.

  2. awww thanks for trying to find this cat’s owner!

  3. though not the original owner one of our neighbors (we’re on the 1600 block too) has been taking care of him for the past 2 weeks or so and is happy to have the furry guy around. I know he’s(?) well fed at this point and very friendly. Though with a lot of cats, well fed or not, if you’re offering food they will gladly stop buy for an early lunch.
