Lost: Silver Lake tabby cat named Farrell*

Submitted by J. Hollifield

A handsome tabby cat with tan stripes overlaid on a shiny black coat has gone missing. Believed to be in the area of Redesdale, Fall, Rotary streets or above West Silver Lake. He’s a neutered male, weighs about 12 pounds, around three years old, good condition, friendly. Goes by the name of Farrell.

* Update: Farrell has been found:

Farrell the handsome, friendly, tabby with a fine sense of humor is back home after three weeks missing and sends meows and purrs of gratitude to all the neighbors and joggers and dog walkers who were vigilant on his behalf.  And Farrell’s owner is particularly grateful to the many sympathetic folks who accepted flyers and listened and promised to call if there was a Farrell sighting.

Well, it appears Farrell was hanging around Chad and Tara’s place, they invited him in, and phoned home.  So we are triple beaucoup appreciative to Chad and Tara for their active participation in Farrell’s return.

And we offer words of encouragement and support to anyone missing a pet:  Go pound the streets, print up flyers with pix, and talk to everyone you see in the area where you think your pet may be.  Keep it on everyone’s front burner.  Wonderful people respond when you reach out.  I hope everyone’s story has a happy ending as did ours.
