Police apprehend two suspected car thieves in Echo Park

Police late Monday night captured a pair of suspected car thieves in Echo Park after they fled from the stolen vehicle, prompting a search of the surrounding neighborhood. Water line ruptures in Echo Park*

The L.A. DWP is preparing to repair an Echo Park water line that ruptured early this morning  near Alvarado Street and Sunset Boulevard, flooding some nearby businesses, knocking out water service and threatening to disrupt the morning commute.
