If you decide to visit Vista Hermosa park PLEASE avoid Bixel St and Edgeware Rd. Specifically the corner of Edgeware & Court. This is a very high gang activity area and I’m not just taking about at night. Sadly this is only a single block from the park and can easily end up being parking or someone not from the neighborhood. I would, by all means, enter and exit from the 1st street entrance if you do decide to go. A shame because it is a nice park.
