Police pursuit heads through Echo Park and Silver Lake*

Police tonight chased a suspected car jacker as he drove through the streets of Echo Park, Silver Lake and surrounding neighborhoods, NBC LA is reporting. Echo Park hospital tries some fancy footwork to build support

Barlow Respiratory Hospital has hired a long list of consultants, planners and real estate brokers as it seeks to transform its leafy grounds on the eastern edge of Echo Park into a major housing development and new hospital. 9/11 remembered

A giant American flag attached from a pair of fire department ladder trucks hung over Stadium Way this morning as a 9/11 remembrance service was conducted at the Los Angeles Fire Department Training Center near Dodger Stadium. The ceremony staged near a metal fragment of the New York World Trade Center  marked the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks. Read More »
