Three men were injured in Lincoln Heights Sunday night during two separate shootings.  Police said they believe the shootings that took place about five-minutes apart are gang related but are still trying to determine if the two incidents are connected, said Sgt. Michael Morisseau with the Hollenbeck Division.

The first shooting took place at about 9:40 p.m. in the 2300 block of Lincoln Park Avenue.  Two males, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, suffered gun shot wounds to the leg and stomach.  Five minutes later and about two blocks away, another male was shot  near Manitou Avenue and Thomas Street.   All three victims are in stable condition, said Morisseau.

The victims in both shootings told police that the shots were fired from inside a passing vehicle.
