Eastside Property: Angeleno Heights fixer finds a buyer

Photo from Redfin.

This nearly century-old Angeleno Heights duplex at 917 East Edgeware Road was obviously in need of some fixing up when it went up for sale in early September at an asking price of $459,000.  The 2,000-square-foot property with an imposing pair of porch columns was described in the listing as a “fixer” that needed “new paint” and  “savvy investor.”  Well, let’s see how savvy the new buyer is who purchased the 1905 duplex for $522,000 or $63,000 over asking, according to Redfin.  The sale closed Nov. 2

  1. Hope someone fixes up the beauty next door as well

  2. Have fantasized about fixing up that place– as well as the house next door– for years. Hope they do a decent job– looks like it has good bones.

  3. Nearly century-old? I’m counting 107 years.
