Tonight’s full moon is the smallest of the year. Despite its relatively small size, Matt Hartman of Eagle Rock was able to capture some impressive images using an Olympus Digital Pen E-PM1 camera equipped with his father’s Swift spotting scope and a remote shutter release. It’s not a Supermoon but it’s still quite a sight.
* Correction: Looks like we were one-day early calling this a full moon, according to the Griffith Observatory Sky Report.
