Truck vs tree vs Echo Park bus bench

Pedestrians at the southwest corner of Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard were having to squeeze by a large tree branch this afternoon that crashed down on a bus bench and blocked the sidewalk. A police officer on the scene said no one was injured after a delivery truck apparently struck the ficus tree  before noon.

  1. That’s lovely. What the hell was that dumb ass truck doing in that lane anyway?

  2. Uh , the article states that that dumb ass truck was making a delivery.
Probably to La Guadalupana which carries many GOYA products.

    • What is that supposed to mean?

      • Oh boy really ?
        Here goes:
In response to E. ‘s post , my post suggests for E. to refer back to the article that therein states a delivery truck hit the ficus tree, resulting in the downed branch .
The truck in the photo is emblazoned with the GOYA products logo , only familiar to those who buy the latin products that are popular at La Guadalupana , which is where the truck is parked in front of , most likely making a delivery to said market.
Really ? Not familiar with GOYA products ? Not familiar with La Guadalupana ?
Gosh I hate it when people are not familiar with the neighborhood they live in .
But how can you be ?
