Found: Sweet Silver Lake tabby with a lot of personality

kittySubmitted by Cheryl  B.

I live in Silver Lake, and about a month ago I came home and found a small tabby cat sitting in my garden. I resisted feeding her until a week later after hearing her constant crying outside my door. Cut to a month later and she’s moved in and making herself at home. I figured she’s probably not a stray but perhaps someone’s missing cat. This week I took her to the vet (after placing an ad on Craig’s List that nobody responded to), and they told me that she’s already fixed, which means she probably belongs to someone who either abandoned her or lost her. I’m hoping it’s the latter, so I’m sending you photos to post in case that person recognizes her. She’s really sweet, and exceedingly clean. Spends most of the day sunbathing and washing herself, and she’s got a lot of personality.

If you have any information, or if you’re even interested in giving her a healthy home, please email Cheryl at  Cherylbusey@hotmail.com

  1. I wish more people would microchip their pets. This cat’s original owner is probably thinking the coyotes got to her when she’s perfectly healthy and could have easily been returned home.

  2. Think I saw a poster for a cat that looks a lot like that one–either on Benton Way north of Sunset or on Silver Lake Blvd. near Effie.

    • That looks a lot like my cat who went missing on Benton around sept. does she have a triangular clip / tear on her right ear?
