The moon and Jupiter dance over Eagle Rock

Matt Hartman of  Eagle Rock was out early this evening photographing tonight’s celestial show featuring a close encounter between Jupiter and the moon . For star gazers across the U.S. and Canada, Jupiter and the moon won’t appear this close  again until 2026, according to MSNBC.

  1. Very cool photo! Is it taken through a telescope lens?

  2. Thank you for sharing this photo. It’s just beautiful. You have a great eye! :)

  3. Thanks for the photo! We were debating which planet that was as we were hiking late last afternoon. Forgot to check until this nice reminder!
