The Glassellland sign on Monday. The same spot (pictured at right) this afternoon.
It was fun while it lasted. Only one day after it appeared on a Glassell Park hillside, the “Glassellland” sign was gone this afternoon. A pair of men were seen taking down the white letters that popped up overnight above Verdugo Road near the southbound 2 Freeway exit. Still no word who was responsible for Glassellland or where those letters will end up.
Those two men should be arrested for theft!

Can’t have that at a cemetery!
Actually, Forest Lawn is pretty nice spot to relax, meditate, catch up on some reading, etc. There are orecious few areas in town that afford you a quiet place to sit by yourself, and have clean bathrooms! I go there once a week, drive all the way to the top and relax for an hour or two. It’s awesome.
Yes, because all of LA is soooo terribly noisy and busy that you need to go to the cemetery to be able to get that precious quiet you need to read and relax?
