Everything’s coming up tulips

Photos by Angel Garcia

All kinds of flowers, trees and vines seem to be blooming. But it was a modest by eye-catching patch of  yellow and orange tulips blooming in front an old Echo Park bungalow that made Angel Garcia stop on the way to work and take photos. Said Garcia of the Rockwood Street flower show:

As a plant enthusiast, tulips are among my favorite flowers to buy and have on my table. But I could not believe the amount of tulips [on Rockwood] and that no one has picked them …  They just take your breath away.

Hope the tulips petals don’t get picked  off by today’s high winds.
