Catching the illegal dumpers via video was the feel good story of the day.
Glad those DIRT BAGS were caught. Hope to see more of this.
Speaking of illegal left turn shortcuts…
Where the short stub-end of Effie intersects Myra in the eastbound direction, there are several signs saying “right turn only”. However, out of the past dozen or so cars I’ve seen at that intersection, I’ve only seen two turn right. If that restriction is really a useful one for public safety (which I wouldn’t be surprised about – Myra is a pretty fast-moving street there, and a bit blind), they ought to just install a curb down the right half of that center line there to make the illegal forwards and left turns impossible.
On the other hand, if that restriction isn’t important, then they ought to remove those signs (and paint on the road), to bring regulations in line with behavior.
