Summer creative writing camp expands to Silver Lake

Writopia Lab, a nonprofit organization that offers creative writing workshops after school, over breaks and throughout the summer to kids between the ages of 6-18, is expanding to Silver Lake with summer workshops.

“In these camps, published authors and produced playwrights will work with students to develop, write, and showcase their own short stories, poetry, plays, screenplays, and memoirs — all while nurturing a love of language and storytelling,” according to Lauren Lewis with Writopia.

The Silver Lake summer workshop, which will be held at the Silver Lake Community Church,  is composed of week-long, half-day camps.  Click here for details.
