Dodger Stadium gets skunked

The aroma of Dodger Dogs is not the only pungent smell wafting through Chavez Ravine these days.  Skunks have been spotted under stadium seats, food and souvenir carts and in the parking lot this summer.  The skunk sightings began in early June and have continued, according to an L.A. Times story.

What to do when you see a skunk under your seat?  Here is what Times columnist Chris Erskine recommends:

My advice: Panic. Then scream “Skunk!” Then shrug and order another beer.

  1. maybe if they cleaned up all of the food scraps the skunks wouldn’t be there. it’s like a buffet laid out daily.

  2. Good thing the cops prioritize skunk abatement over protecting Echo Park-ians from gangs.
