Free art classes for kids and teens offered in Glassell Park

fall_classesThe Create L.A. and Keystone  Art Space, an artist studio complex in Glassell Park, is now signing up kids ages 10 to 18 for free art classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays (4 pm – 5:30 pm) from late August through September. Here are the details:

Bring your interested youngster and sign them up 15 minutes before start of class. Enrollment is open and rolling until classes are filled.

Wednesday – 2D Art
Come draw, paint, collage, and make prints using wood, paper, oil pastels, charcoal, pencils, watercolors, acrylic paint, and recycled materials – just to name a few.

Thursday – Sculpture Class
Come build sculptures out of wood, paper, cardboard, plastic, clay, wire and weird things that you find everywhere.
