  1. Hope he survives. How tragic!

  2. Whenever I hear of something like this, I think, “Do the people responsible for such henious acts, know about karma??”

    • There’s no such thing as karma, and nobody will be judged by a higher power after death. Were there some cosmic balance mechanism, bazillions of innocents killed by jerks could seek some redress in heaven’s court.

“Live by the sword…,” however, is apt.

  3. There’s more to this story….why would someone shoot the gardener multiple times?

  4. @Gemma Yes, quite possibly but I don’t imagine a gardener in his 40′s is in a gang. Most likely a random act of violence or gang initiation. It is sad that a person would have such a tragedy while working hard. Please keep us posted on this story.

    • Sounds like it was personal. I do not believe it’s gang related. Investigators need to look into the personal life of the gardener. Nowadays investigators must check out family, friends, and ex-relationships first.

  5. I was driving by there, saw the news trucks and wondered what was going on as news trucks at residences are usually not associated with positive news.

Only a sociopath would go around looking for people to shoot. Unfortunately, judging by the crime reports, it seems LA has a lot of them.

Hope the guy is going to be ok.

  6. Your vote, or your two sense! If it isn’t old chump change, “True Freedom”.
