The New Echo Park Lake Bird Walk with the Los Angeles Audubon Society

Meet near the Boathouse

Birds love water, add the trees and grass, and you got a pretty cool urban habitat. Over the years, Audubon members have logged over 75 species over the years at the Lake. Now’s your chance to see some of the regulars and look for some new ones. This is a fun walk and beginners are encouraged to participate. Binoculars are strongly recommended. A bird guide and a hat are suggested too.

Audubon Film Fridays at the Audubon Center at Debs Park have been a tradition for 7 years. Join us on August 23 for the final movie of the summer: A Bug’s Life. Movies begin around dusk but you should come around 7 pm, to get a spot and to see some live creepy crawlers. This is a free event. The Audubon Center at Debs Park is located at 4700 N.
